The report surveyed more than 150 countries and territories over a three-year period to evaluate happiness levels based on six factors: social support, income, health, freedom, generosity, and absence of corruption. 根據聯合國永續發展方法網路公布的《世界幸福報告》，台灣是在東亞地區排名第二，並在整個亞洲地區排名第四幸福的國家。報告在三年內對150多個國家和地區進行調查，評估了六項因素：社會支持、收入、健康、自由、慷慨和反貪腐，以評估全球各國的幸福水平。 While Israel ranked 4th globally, Singapore ranked 25th, and the United Arab Emirates ranked 26th, Taiwan was able to secure the 27th place worldwide. Although Taiwan was outperformed by Singapore in the East Asia grouping, the country was able to rank ahead of Japan, which ranked 47th globally.
