雅思口语P2 Describe a historical building you have been to(文字版)

17 Jul 2020

Description

Actually, the aged building that I have been to and felt quite impressive should be a central library, which has been with us for almost 70 years. Approximately one century ago, it was built in the central area of my city. It looks rather huge, there are four floors of it. You know, it is still in use today. On the ground floor, it was open to the public 24 hours every week. Include the foreign visitors and local visitors as well. On the second and third floor, more than 20 study rooms are well settled. Those who want to study in a quiet place must love this space. The point is that it is not free of charge. 20 Yuan per hours I might say. Besides, honestly, I have got no idea about the top floor. I didn't know anything about it. Possibly, thousands of books and periodicals or magazines could be found out there. You know, this historical building has been a landmark in my city. On the weekends, most of the local ordinary citizens like to spend some time there. It definitely gives us the opportunities to be a real book lover or a good student. We could also feel something one or two about history according to this amazing historical building. So, that is it.
