雅思口语P2 Describe a time you were late(文字版）

1. We were supposed to meet at around 3pm to discuss a project I'm working on. At lunchtime I had to go into the city center and take care of some personal matters.  2. When I left I thought that I might be able to make it to the university on time, but then there was a problem with one of the buses that I took and we got stuck in a traffic, so I wasted more time. 3. I was almost 2 hours late for the appointment so I can't blame him for not waiting any longer. I saw him the next day and had to apologize to him.  I was late for an important meeting with one of my teachers at university 与大学老师的会议迟到了 At lunchtime I had to go into the city centre and take care of some personal matters 午休时间我去市中心处理私人事务 Eventually my friend arrived at the shop, but I had been waiting for nearly 2 hours 等待了2个小时 I was almost 2 hours late for the appointment so I can't blame him for not waiting any time 两个小时也不能怪罪老师没等我 Got stuck in the traffic 堵车 He had already left 老师已经走了
