雅思口语P2 Describe a time you were sleepy but had to stay awake(文字版)

23 May 2020

Description

Mention about the topic, a time when I was very sleepy but had to stay awake comes to my mind. Three months ago, when I was struggling for final examination. I was told that I had to have a better result if I wanted to have a new mobile phone. My dad had a promise with me by the way. Apparently, I tried to work hard on my preparation of that big exam. Seriously, I only slept 4 to 5 hours the week before final exams. On a Monday afternoon, just after the lunch break, I was very very sleepy in front of my table. You know, it was quite hard to find a wonderful place to have a good sleep in the library. I carried on staying awake and encouraging myself to continue finishing my academic work. It was a tough challenge. In order to stay awake, I didn't eat anything at noon. This is a highly recommended method I can say. Hunger is the best solution to make me feel refreshed. Imagine that, I was the kind of person who didn't sleep well and felt quite hungry. That feeling would kill me. Eventually, I had a successful result in my final examination. I also got the new phone from my dad. That is it.
