Good morning and please be seated. Welcome to the Sixth District Court of Appeal. Um we do have three matters on calendar this morning with some in-person appearances, some remote appearances. And as we uh get ready here and organized on the bench, I will give a special welcome to our um representatives, um students and attorneys and judicial officers from the William Ingram in of court who are joining us today and uh will be observing oral argument and then speaking with us after. All right, uh then we will um begin with our first matter.

We do have panel changes in between each case. Um I'll also note for everyone in the audience uh that we will have remote appearances. So here on the bench and at council table there are screens where um our remote participants are visible. Otherwise everyone in the courtroom will hear the audio. Um but we do live stream our uh sessions and record them and if anyone in the audience here wishes to see the screen that is available in our security screening area just outside the courtroom. Um with that we'll go ahead and get started. I'll also note that we do have laptops here on the bench. Thank you, Your Honors. There are three main incidents the trial court focused on in granting a respondent a D VRO against appellant. His may seventeenth visit, his May thirty first visit, and the text messages he sent during her trip to Palm Springs with her husband. I don't want to belabor all the facts and arguments already made in the brief, so I'll focus today on the May thirty first event. On May thirty first, twenty twenty four, appellant went to respondent's house. This was his custodial day, and respondent's house was a customary exchange location. Uh appellant was unaware, respondent had obtained a TRO against him that altered the visitation schedule as the TRO had not been served on him yet.
