I think the choice to have Bad Bunny for the halftime show at the Super Bowl was definitely more of a marketing or advertising ploy, specifically probably trying to open up markets in the Latino community to bring them to the NFL, rather than it being sort of a thank you or showing gratitude to the viewers for their viewership all season long to the NFL, which I feel like halftime shows have usually been more about hitting the masses, where this one's very much marketing.
