The second thing we'll talk about today is Elon Musk and Tesla and Doge. So here's my perspective. On Doge, the jury is very much still out on whether this is going to have any real impact in the long run.
I think that was just the normal time he was planning to leave. But this is exciting. Apparently, next month, if you order a Tesla... And I don't know if it's every model or just the Model Y. It will drive to your house. So you won't have to go pick up your car. Your car will just, with no driver, will just drive to your house. And then you have your car.
Third, as we've talked about often, Tesla and Elon Musk remain tremendously resilient. The stock is down 11% year-to-date. Sixth, this is apropos of nothing, my diet efforts were a disaster yesterday. Everything went off the rails. You're going to have days like that. Seventh, Best Buy points down this morning. after disappointing earnings and projects challenges due to tariffs on imports.
You mentioned Elon Musk. So he's back in the business world, fresh off his detour through US politics. So now Tesla's board is faced with this question. How do you pay the world's richest man? Now, the company didn't respond to requests for comment, but what are some of the options they might be considering, especially after his 2018 pay package was thrown out by a court twice?
