Zoning meetings demanding to be heard. For our wonderful District 4 coalition, your voices have shaped this district's direction. I'm sitting here tonight because you showed up, because you stayed engaged, and because you never stopped believing in what we could accomplish together. I also want to express my sincere appreciation to the organizations and community partners who publicly endorsed my reelection. Your support was not simply political. It was a statement about integrity, accountability, and community-centered leadership. Thank you to the Black Political Caucus. to the Charlotte Observer, to the Charlotte Firefighters Association, to the Charlotte Metrolina Labor Council, SEIU, the Red, White, and Blue North Carolina, and Unite Here North Carolina.

As we begin this new term, I recommit myself to the values that have guided my service. Equity, transparency, compassion, and courage. We face big decisions in this city. Affordability, transportation, infrastructure, small business support, and community stability. I will continue to push for solutions that put people first. Like you said, I'm looking forward to working beside you. Put people first, especially those with the least protection and the least power at the table. District 4 represents what Charlotte can be, diverse, dynamic, resilient, and full of possibility.
