Let me read this one and then I'll read that one next. Um even though we already approved it. Uh the National Gun Violence Awareness Day, um whereas more than a hundred and twenty Americans are killed daily. by gun violence, along with more than two hundred who are shot and wounded, and an average of eighteen thousand gun related homicides occur every year, whereas Americans are twenty six times more likely to die by gun homicide than residents in other high income countries. Whereas Virginia has one thousand one hundred and twenty one gun deaths every year with a rate of twelve point eight deaths per one one hundred thousand people, a crisis that causes states

Whereas we renew the call for responsible gun ownership to require secure gun storage, unloaded, locked and separated from ammunition, and encouraged states to require a gun purchaser to complete safe gun use training prior to purchasing a gun or carrying a gun in public.
