Thank you, Mayor Burke. Just tonight, I just wanted to take a moment of silence and remember the victims of the recent flooding and hurricane. And also wanted to also think about the folks, especially here in Leesburg. We had a number of pilots and organizations and individuals donate a lot of supplies to go down to North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. And so just take a moment of silence and think about the victims, but also think about and thank the folks who, when they saw something happen, stood up and went and acted.

We have no statistics, but we do have a couple of proclamations tonight. The first proclamation is for the Women's Club of Loudoun's 80th anniversary. I will read this out. to go into the record, and it's a long one. It says, Women's Club of Loudoun's 80th anniversary, whereas the Women's Club of Loudoun, established on June 19th in 1944, has dedicated itself to the welfare of our community for the past 80 years, fostering a spirit of service, leadership, and friendship among women. Whereas the Women's Club of Loudoun is a proud member of both the Virginia Federation of Women's Clubs and the General Federation of Women's Clubs, two of the world's oldest and largest women's service organizations.
And whereas the Women's Club of Loudoun brings together women of all ages and interests who share a common desire to support their local community through service, advocacy, and philanthropy, and who believe in the power of collective action to affect positive change. And whereas the Women's Club of Loudoun actively engages in the wide range of community service programs, including the art and culture, civic engagement and outreach, education and libraries, environmental and health and wellness. hosting five general meetings throughout the year which are focused on these key areas. Whereas the Women's Club of Loudoun also hosts social events to foster camaraderie and fellowship among its members, including a membership tea and a holiday dinner and a summer picnic, while also holding its annual business meeting in March and a club institute in April.
Whereas the Women's Club of Loudoun supports numerous local, state, and national international charities, including but not limited to Monroe Advanced Technical Academy Scholarship, Appalachia Service Project, Art of All, Police Project and Craft Fair, Camp Easter Seal, Shop at Life International, Operation Smiles, Keep Leesburg Beautiful, no, Keep Loudon Beautiful, Legacy Farms, Farm Less Ordinary, Loudoun Ability Fitness Center, Loudoun County High School Community Table, Loudoun Breast Cancer Health Network, and A Place to Be Mental Health. Whereas the Women's Club of Loudoun continues to serve the community through fundraising efforts, including the sale of its Cherish Cookbook, which contains over 500 recipes contributed by members, family, friends, and community servants, with all proceeds supporting charitable causes,
