And whereas AI month, held from December first to December thirty first, is an opportunity to bring awareness of AI And AI organizations encouraging communities to explore the future of AI and its implications across the nation and the world. Whereas AI Month aims to foster an inclusive and responsible approach to AI development and deployment, emphasizing the importance of planning for the future we envision in accelerating the global competitiveness of our communities by embracing AI advancements.
And whereas the town of Leesburg, the hometown of the tw of the twenty first century, calls on the federal and state government to pass laws to safeguard against those who wish to use AI for harmful practices. ensuring the responsible development and deployment of AI technologies. Whereas the town of Leesburg recognizes the importance of being proactive and and shaping a responsible AI future, ensuring that technology advancements benefit all citizens while addressing ethical considerations and potential challenges.
