That flag's a little close to you there. Let the record reflect that Mr. Krakowski, Ms. Nacy, myself, Mr. Wilt, and Mr. Steinberg are here, but I need a motion to allow Vice Mayor Simino-Johnson and Council Member Cummings to electronically participate in the June 23rd, 2026 council meeting. So moved by Council Member Steinberg, second by Council Member Krakowski. All in favor indicate by saying aye.

Opposed, 7-0, pass. We have no certificates, proclamations, or presentations tonight. Does anybody have any commission reports, regional commission reports? At this point, no. All right, I will move forward on the approval of the consent agenda, 12A. Oh, I was going to skip the petitioners altogether. Sorry about that. Do we have anybody in the audience that signed? Oh, we don't have the paper yet. Okay, I will do so. One of the first orders of business is to hear from the public. All members of the public are welcome to address the council on any item or any item matter or issue. Please identify yourself and if comfortable doing so, give your address for the taped record. Any public speaker will be requested to state their name and spell it for the purpose of closed captioning.

In the interest of fairness, we also ask that you observe a three-minute time limit. The green light on the timer will turn yellow when you have one minute remaining. At that time, we would appreciate your summing up and yielding the floor when the bell indicates your time has expired. Under the rules of orders adopted by this council, the time limit applies to all. The first person we have on our list tonight is George Johnson. Is Mr. Johnson here? I don't see Mr. Johnson. All right, is there anyone else in the audience that would like to say a few words at this point? Is there nobody that wants to come forward and speak? Okay, then I will, Suzanne, I got the impression you were speaking. Oh, okay, you weren't here for the petitioner section.
Mayor (unnamed) / Presiding Mayor 6:08
Okay, all right, thank you. All right, seeing that there's nobody else, then I will close the petitioner section and I will go to the consent agenda. or I tried to get to before.
