And the first one is the Save the Soil Day. And I'm gonna find it here. Okay, so I will read it, then ask for a motion and I will take it down to Alison. So Save the Soil Day, March 21st, 2026. Whereas Save the Soil is a global movement launched by, I always mess this up, Sahaguru? uniting world leaders, visionaries, influencers, and citizens of all nations behind a common purpose to restore and safeguard the world's soil.

And Whereas Safe Soil aims to address the global crisis, recognizing that 52% of the world's agricultural soils are already degraded, and by 2050, 90% of the earth's soil could be degraded. whereas addressing soil degradation issues would bring solutions for the loss of biodiversity, nutritional deficiency, food security, water scarcity, climate change, and mass migration, whereas the proposed solution is to advocate policies across all nations towards soil restoration and aim to increase organic matter in agricultural soils to a minimum of a 3 to 6 percent, whereas an effort to raise awareness and active support from leaders and citizens alike was on a 30,000-kilometer journey as a lone motorcyclist covering 27 nations over 100 days since March 21, 2022.

Therefore, I proclaim that the Mayor and the Council of the Town of Leesburg, Virginia, hereby recognize March 21st, 2026 as Save Soil Day in the Town of Leesburg, as soil is vital to all life. And this one is for Ramadan, 2026. Whereas the holy month of Ramadan is a time of spiritual reflection, prayer, and fasting for Muslims in the town of Leesburg and across the globe. Whereas Ramadan commemorates the revelation of the Quran and is observed through acts of charity, self-discipline, and renewal empathy for those less fortunate.
