That passes 7-0. We have no certificates of recognition, but we do have one proclamation for tonight, and that is the Keep Leesburg Beautiful Month. Whereas the town of Leesburg is committed to environmental stewardship and maintaining the town's aesthetic appearance of road corridors and public places, and whereas many volunteers come forth each April to collect trash from the roadside, stream areas, and common areas throughout the town, whereas it's very important to educate the public that whatever goes into a storm drain ends up in the Chesapeake Bay, thus extending the positive impact of cleanup activities far beyond the town.

Whereas the town council appreciates the fine work of town staff and the Leesburg Environmental Advisory Commission to keep the town's roadways, right-of-ways, and parks clean and attractive year-round. Whereas the town will host a kick-off event on April 11th to encourage the community to come together and make our community cleaner and greener. Therefore, I proclaim that the Mayor and the Leesburg Town Council hereby proclaim April 26th as Keep Leesburg Beautiful Month and encourages all residents, businesses, youth groups, churches, and service organizations to participate in the Keep Leesburg Beautiful by organizing cleanups and beautification activities. You can go online and sign up. It doesn't have to be on the 11th as well. You can do a different day. We also have 12 businesses that are participating in this program.

So if you volunteer, you get kind of coupon, like you go to these businesses, local and Leesburg, and they can get discounts off and like a free item at a few places. It's really exciting, and this year we have two Golden Grabbers. So one for a winner that does the most trash pickup for groups under 10 people, and one for now over 10 people. So, yeah. Anyway, we're really excited, and last year we picked up a ton of trash, so I think this year we're hoping to eat it.
