And Mayor Burke, aye. All right. We are now going to uh continue our meeting. And the first item for discussion tonight is the Loudoun County referral. L E G I twenty zero twenty three zero zero six five Z Map zero two zero two three zero zero zero three Greenfield Farm rezoning.
Burke and members of council. This evening I'm here to talk about this Loudoun County application. It is L E G I twenty twenty three dash zero zero six five. And while the town reviews many Loudoun County applications and send referrals, there are certain occasions where uh issues arise where we bring this to the attention of the council. And in this particular case the subject property is located outside of the town limits east of the Greenway, essentially at the Shreve Mill Road intersection of the Dulles Greenway. There are three parcels that comprise the subject property, totaling one hundred seventy four point three acres. The proposal for this application is largely residential. four hundred ninety six single family detached units.
twenty two multifamily attached units, forty four thousand square feet of non residential uses, a convenience store with gas pumps, a restaurant with drive thru facilities, and a convenience store with up to five thousand three hundred seventy square feet of retail. Uh this shows you the project layout. Uh most of these lots here are residential. It also gives you a sense of the proximity to the Shreve Mill Road interchange of the Dulles Greenway. Uh, this property is outside of the JLMA and outside of the area where we have town plan land use policy. However, the town does have specific policy for protecting the Leesburg Airport. And I'll read that highlighted section. states the town will actively work to limit the development of noise sensitive use uses such as residences, hospitals and convalescent homes in areas close to the airport and subject to typical flight patterns generated by the airport.
So it's for that reason that we're essentially bringing this application forward to the town council. And while this property is in the airport impact overlay district, it is it within the one mile buffer of the LDN sixty. That essentially requires notification when new homes are sold. You'll note from this graphic that the actual flight patterns these are the flight patterns from an entire month go directly over this property. And that is the concern that we're bringing to your attention this evening. Uh just a couple of examples of some actual planes.
