This room has a hearing loop. If you need hearing assistance, please switch your hearing aid to the teleco, if you have a hearing aid, rather, please switch your hearing aid to the teleco mode. This public hearing will allow members of the public to address the board on the proposed budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1st, 2024 and ending June 30th, 2025. The FY25 proposed budget and the proposed tax rates on real and personal property tax for tax year 24 beginning January 1st, 2024

That is because you may not be able to see our timer in the boardroom and I won't stop you when you get like to two minutes because it messes up your flow, but I will stop you when your time is up. So I'm going to call your names, and this is the thing. If you are speaking a language other than English, you will be allowed five minutes so that we have time to make sure you have your language interpreted. So if you have an interpreter with you, however you all choose to do that, you can do all your comments at one time and then have somebody interpret or go back and forth, that's up to you, but you will be allotted five minutes for that. morning. Good morning. Thank you, Madam Chair and Board of Supervisors. My name is Nicole Acosta, and I'm the President and CEO of the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties. and also a proud member of the Loudoun Human Services Network. I'm here today representing the Community Foundation and our Workforce Housing Now campaign. I'm also a resident of the Catoctin District. As an employer and resident, the lack of attainable housing in our community is an important issue to me and one that impacts all of us.
