Well, good evening, supervisors. Good evening, student supervisors. Good evening, staff, and good evening, Loudoun. So the day is my favorite day of the year. It is Youth and Government Day, and we have students from all over the county, and I think even a couple from Fairfax County joining us this evening. What we're gonna do first before we do anything else is have our student supervisors introduce themselves, tell their age and where they are from, what school they go to, and then we will go from there. We're gonna start down here all the way to my right.

I would like to call to order the April 16th, 2024 Loudoun County Board
of

to request one. Thank you. Okay, pursuant to Virginia Code Sections 2.2-3708-3 and the Board of Supervisors Rules of Order, Supervisor Kirshner requests to participate in this meeting by electronic communications. A physical quorum of the board is present in the boardroom and the board has made arrangements for the voice of Supervisor Kirshner to be heard by all persons in the boardroom. Supervisor Kirshner made this request within the required timeframe and county attorneys determine Supervisor Kirsten's request meets the qualifications to participate remotely. The board will record in its minutes that Supervisor Kirsten participated remotely from a private location in San Carlos, Mexico, for personal reasons.

Supervisor Turner, I do believe your student supervisor is going to have words of inspiration and leads in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Before the meeting, I warned the student chair that they are probably gonna be the most busy person up here today, even more busy than me, because they're gonna do all the work.
