Well, good evening, supervisors, good evening staff, and good evening, Loudoun. Like to call to order the May 6, 2025, Loudoun County Board of Supervisors Business Meeting. We pray especially for all the children in our county and throughout our country. We pray for our first responders, our law enforcement, and our military on active duty or our veterans. We hope that you will comfort all those facing economic upheaval and bring peace. peace and joy to our entire nation. Uh thank you, Lord. In your name we pray. Amen. If we could all stand and recite the Pledge of Allegiance, thank you.

Okay. Supervisors, I have one addition to the agenda um that we will get to later, but I need to announce it right now. We are going to have a uh likely reconsideration of the um uh whether or not the Department of Planning and Zoning work plan from Item 10 on the April 15th, 2025 Board Supervisors meeting with the Mountainside Overlay District, the the discussion to be reconsidered is whether or not to send that item to TLUC. And so we're not discussing the item itself, we're discussing whether or not we want to uh send the item to TLUC. That meeting that decision was made at the last board uh uh business meeting and so we have to uh if it's going to be consider reconsidered, has to be reconsidered at this board meeting.
Are there any other recon um additions or deletions on the dais? All right. Um I can tell you that our colleagues who are not here, Supervisor Sain said he would be here after five o'clock, Supervisor Kirschner said the same. Supervisor Laterno, um I haven't heard from him, but he usually gets in right around here in Oh, okay, I'm sorry. Did you just get here in Okay, hi uh nice to see ya. Then we're just missing two now. Okay, wonderful. And they would both be here after five o'clock. S how I don't know how you sneak in when you're s six foot one. Okay, I'm gonna read the uh consent agenda. Item R1, proclamations to declare May 4th through 10th, 2025 is correctional officers week. That is for approval and presentation.
Item R2, proclamation to declare May 7 11th through 17th as National Police Week and May 15th as Peace Officers Memorial Day. Um that is for approval and presentation. Item R three proclamation to recognize May twenty twenty five is Lyme disease awareness month. That is for approval and presentation. And all of us have a Lyme, a tick removal thing in front of us. Do we all have that in front of us? Yeah. Yuck. But we all have it in front of us to remove um remove a tick. Um item R four, proclamation to recognize May 15th as bike to work day, and that's for approval only. That proclamation is from um Vice Chair Turner and Supervisor Bricksman. Item R five resolution of uh commendation to John Champ High School varsity swim team.

Um item R six resolution of Commendation for Eagle Scout Andrew Coach. Um resolution of accommodation for Eagle Scout William Wazawi. That's R7. R8, proclamation for May 4th through 10th, Professional Municipal Clerks Week. Item 1A, proposed schedule of meetings. Item 1B joint committee work plan. Item 2A appointments and confirmation. Item three, administrative items report of May 6, 2025. Item five, proposed changes to supplemental pay for employees not represented or uh are eligible for collective bargaining. And item six is the uh PCOR 2025-0001, Commonwealth Center Residential Proper Amendment Public Hearing Waiver.
