I'd like to call to order the june seventeenth, twenty twenty-five L Loudo County Board of Supervisors Business Meeting. This room has a hearing loop. Supervisor Brisman will now lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance and words of inspiration. Thank you, Vice Chair Turner. Um so it's graduation season and as supervisors we're always invited to um be on the stage and shake the hands of graduates. I attended four graduations so far. I th I think I'm done. La uh yesterday was the last one. Um And you know, intuitively we know how diverse our county is, but it really is um it really is amazing to shake the hands of three hundred to three hundred and fifty students, each individual uh person as they walk across the stage.
I saw the American flag with the Mexican flag on their regalia. I saw the El Salvador flag with the American flag on their regalia, I saw, you know, um Uh demonstrations of Asian, African American, Pakistani, Indian culture. And it's just a good reminder of that we are a tapestry in Loudoun County. We have folks from all backgrounds and religions in our county. And with that, I wanted to share a quote from Mahatma Gandhi, and that is our ability to reach unity in diversity. Will be the beauty and the test of our civilization. Thank you, and please join me in the pledge.

Uh pursuant to Virginia Code Section 2.23708.3 and the board rules of order, Chair Randall has requested to participate in this meeting by electronic communication. A physical quorum of the Board of Supervisors is present in the boardroom, and the board has made arrangements for the voice of Chair Randall to be heard by all persons in the boardroom. Chair Randall made this request within the required timeframe, and the county attorney determined that her request meets the qualification is to participate remotely. The board will record in its minutes that Chair Randall participated remotely from a private location in New Orleans, Louisiana.

I would like to remove my nomination for Christopher Powell to the Environmental Commission as a subject matter expert clean transportation representative. This is removal from item three A, confirmation. Which is proposed on the consent agenda. Thank you, Supervisor Glass. Any other additions or deletions to the agenda? Seeing none, uh, I'll now read the proposed consent agenda. It's a long one, so fasten your seat belts here. Uh the proposed consent agenda is as follows. Item R one, resolution to recognize the 50th anniversary of the National Association of Women Business Owners.
Um the uh item R two, proclamation to recognize June 2025 as National Immigrant Heritage Month. Item three, Uh R three rec proclamation to recognize July as Parks and Recreation Month in association with Play Old Day Virginia in Loudoun County. Item R four proclamation to recognize June 15th through 21st, 25 as Pollinator Week. Item R five, proclamation to recognize the 250th anniversary of the United States Army in Loudoun County. Item R six proclamation to recognize Juneteenth in Loudoun County. County. Uh item R7, resolution honoring Brigadier General Donald Wayne Hanson, U.S. Army retired on his 92nd birthday. Item 1A, contract award, inspection improvement design services. Item 1B, contract renewal, job order contract for maintenance of mechanical infrastructure.
Item one C, contract renewal slash personal computer workstations, servers and services. Item one D, contract renewal. Information technology professional services countywide.
