Thus we are about 10 minutes behind getting everything loaded up on Granicus and getting everything, make sure everything's out to the public correctly. So I'm going to recess this meeting for the next 10 minutes just to make sure everything is loaded up on Granicus and everything is correct. I'll come back in 10 minutes and we will go from there. So we are meeting on Wednesday because we had Martin Luther King Day off this week. I enjoyed attending the annual parade in Leesburg. It was wonderful, good weather, and sunny. When I think about Dr. Martin Luther King, two quotes come to mind. One of them is injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. And the second is, and this might perhaps be my favorite, our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter. And when I combine those two in my mind, I think that our lives do begin to end the day we become silent about injustice because injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. OK. This has been a little bit of a chaotic day because the computers went down for four hours, so everyone's running around trying to do things with pencil and paper. And so there's a lot going on in this meeting, so please bear with me. Supervisors, there's a lot of additions and deletions and immediate motions and all those types of things, so if I miss something, please catch me. I do believe the only motion, well not I do believe, the only motion I'm making was sent out to you all yesterday, But there are other things going on as well.

Supervisor Sainz will be here around 5.15, 5.30. Supervisor Letourneau, where's she sitting? Where's she? Will be here at 4.30. Supervisor Umstadt, who's, where is she? She will not be here this evening. Vice Chair Turner will be here around 5.30. So everyone is coming in the room. I'm gonna take a point of personal privilege. There's an item on the consent agenda from Ms. Tacroni about a sign in Howardsville to make Howardsville a place, and I'll talk about that importance in just a second. But before I do that, I do wanna say in the room with us tonight is a man named Thomas Reed, who is a long time Loudoun County resident. the entire effort that I started in my first term to look at privies and to make sure that everyone in our county was treated equitably when it comes to

land use and zoning and where water was ran and all those types of thing was because Mr. Kim Hart bought Mr. Thomas Reed's, affectionately known as Bubbles, his case to me. And that was in my first term. Mr. Reed is a stalwart of Loudoun County. He's been in the county for generations. He is a simply amazing man. If you ever have time to talk to him again, I will talk to the item in just a second. But I really cannot have Thomas Reid in the room with me and not acknowledge him. Mr. Reid, will you please stand up for us, please? Everyone turn around. He's in the back.

At the request of the applicant, item LEGI 2024-0037, Cochrane Tech ZMAP 2024-0012, special exception 2024-0025, special exception 2025-0025, PESA exception 2025-0029, PESA exception 2025-0034, PESA exception 2025-0054, and PESA exception 2025-0111 has been deferred to a future business meeting for action. Again, that's the request of the applicant themselves. The rest of these are all gonna be motions to reconsider and then motions on the item.
