All right, let's get going. Well, good evening supervisors. Good evening Loudoun and good evening to the staff. We I'm going to call to order the November thirteenth, two thousand twenty four, Loudoun County Board of Supervisors business meeting. This room has a hearing loop. If you need hearing assistance, please switch your hearing aid to the telec mode. If you have a if you need a headset, we have those disfellables as well. Um, as a reminder to all members of the public addressing the board this evening, you may only sign up to speak on the matters that have been advertised for this public hearing. Due to the broadcast delay, excuse me, any member of the public, if you are not in the board room. to to address the uh board on items one, two, three, and five, which are on our consolidated agenda, please see the number that will be scrolling across your screen right now.
Um if you are here you signed up to speak, you will be allotted two and a half minutes. If you are in the boardroom your name is called please come to the podium nearest to you or you guys can switch to podiums. I don't Come to whatever podium you want to come to. The timer on the podium will indicate your time. When your time has expired, please yield the floor to the next speaker. Um if you're providing your comments via telephone, I'm going to ask that you um time yourself. I do that because you might not be able to see the clock if you're on your phone and you still have two and a half minutes, but when you get to two minutes, um I don't want to stop you because in the interrupt your flow when you're speaking.
So I won't stop you, but when you get to your two and a half minutes, I will stop you. So go in and time yourself so you know when you're getting close. And when taking inputs for the public items, I will ask if there's anyone in the boardroom wishing to speak. And then why then I will go to the moderator who this evening is Amanda Logan. And ask if there's any speakers online. Please note that there is a slight delay between the broadcast and the boardroom. Before we get started, I would like to have a point of personal privilege and say that today is for Supervisor Turner's birthday. I was going to have everyone tease me about being an old man, but I decided not to do that because Because quite frankly, Mr.
Turner could probably run faster, jump higher, and God knows ride his bike further than anybody else on this board. So we can't tease him if he's the best if he's person uh up here in the best physical condition. However, Mr. Turner, take one minute and explain the really strange anomaly in your family's birthdays.
Uh well I was eight years old when I met my stepmother. I was born on November thirteenth. My stepmother was born on November 13th. Um a few years later she got pregnant with my sister and had my half-sister, and she was born on November 13th. Um her mother was born on November 13th. And I met my second wife and on our first date, I went to pick her up at the house, and she lived at 13, 13 Monty Lake Trip. And while I were on the date, she informed me that her son and my future stepson was born on November 13th. When I was 10 years, all the girls were born 28 years apart, and every one of us was born on Tuesday, except for my son who was born on a Thursday.
