Well good evening staff, good evening supervisors, and good evening Loudoun. I'd like to call to order the June eleventh, Loudoun County Board of Supervisors public hearing and the Joint Board of Supervisors and VDOT public hearing. This room has a hearing loop. If you need hearing assistance, please switch your hearing aid to the telecom mode. If you need a headset, we have those available as well. Please see the clerk to request one. Would everybody please join me in the Pledge of Allegiance? Pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. For all. Okay, as a reminder to our members of the public addressing the board this evening, you may only register to speak on matters that have been advertised for this public hearing.

Due to the broadcast delay, any member of the public who are not in the boardroom wishing to address the boards on item two, four, and five, which are on the consolidated agenda, um please call the number that you see scrolling across your screen at this time. Um if you register to speak you'll be allotted two and a half minutes. That's the time that I the that the board of supervisors um has agreed on on our rules of order. And we don't change that meeting to meeting based on how many or how few people are in the room. It's always two and a half minutes in the boardroom. Mm. The timer on the podium will indicate your remaining time. When your time has expired, please yield the floor to the next speaker.

If you're providing your comments via phone, I'm going to ask that you use your own stopwatch. And that is because if I'm time if you can't see the timer and I'm timing you, if I stop you at two minutes, it's gonna break your flow. But if you keep your own stopwatch, you can know how much time you have left because I will stop you at two and a half minutes. And so if you don't mind, keep Um when taking public input um items for imprints, I would first ask if there's anyone in the boardroom wishing to speak. I would then go to the moderator who this evening is Kaylee and ask if there are anyone on the um line wishing to speak. And please note that there's a slight delay between the broadcast and the boardroom.

Kaylee, can you hear me? I can hear you. Wonderful. I do want to make one other thing known. We have an organization in Loudoun, a fantastic organization called COT, the Coalition of Loudon Towns. Coalition of Loudon Towns happens to meet um on the same time as as our public hearing. And they have been asking me to come speak with them for months now. And I couldn't go because it's our public hearing and because they usually meet in w somewhere in Western Loudon County and I just can't get there and back. So they were very kind today to move their meeting um here to Leedsburgh. Um and they've asked me, will I come over, give about a fifteen minute presentation and then come back? That's I'm gonna do that.

So around seven o'clock I'm gonna leave the day as I'm gonna hand the uh the gavel to um uh uh the person who's next in our in our um uh uh succession uh line, which is Miss Bricksman, because Mr. Turner's not here tonight, he's at a graduation. And so um I shouldn't be gone more than a half an hour. I'm gonna Lightfoot, gonna give an update, gonna be back. But um they were very kind to move their meeting to Leesburg, and so I am gonna go go join Colt for about a half an hour this evening. So uh uh please know please know that. Um Let's see. Pursuant to uh Virginia Code Section 2.2-3708-3 and the board board's rules of order, Vice Chair Turner requested to re uh participate remotely in this meeting. Now, I do know that he is at a graduation, and so if he gets back on time, he's going to get on remotely later.
