Okay, all right, let's get started. All right, good evening, everybody. I would like to call to order the February 11th, 2025 Loudoun County Board of Supervisors, Finance, Government, Operations, and Economic Development Committee meeting. As you can tell, I'm not the chair of the committee, Ms. Brixman, the vice chair of the committee, Mr. Sainz. So Ms. Brixman is going to be joining us via WebEx today due to personal reasons. And pursuant to Virginia Code Section 2.2-3708.3 in the Board Rules of Order, Chair Brixman requested to participate in this meeting by electronic communication due to personal matter. A physical quorum of the Finance, Government, and Operations Economic Development Committee is present in the boardroom.

Okay. All right. And let's see here. Did that part? Okay. So the proposed agenda is as follows. We're going to do item three, contract renewal, consult services for transportation planning and preliminary engineering. Item four, contract renewal engineering services for the Loudoun County Stormwater Management Program. We'll do item five, contract award, design, build, delivery of a compressed natural gas fueling station and the modification of the existing county transit maintenance facility. Item six, community development block grant funding recommendations. And we are going to add Item number eight, unless there's objection, Loudoun County Microtransit Feasibility Study. Before we make a motion and get a second, does anybody have any questions or comments with the consent agenda?

see. Yeah, I did it for a reason. Mr. Brown, real quickly, for the micro transit, I know staff was proposing Leesburg and Sterling. Now, is it going to be, are those going to be done, well, obviously it has to go to the full board and everything before it's finally approved, but what you're proposing, is it at the same time or will Leesburg go before Sterling? And so what's the timetable that you're proposing?

So ideally what we looked at those two scenarios, we actually looked at three scenarios. And the most favorable were the Sterling and the Leesburg areas, primarily to, I hope that's Scott coming down. primarily to capture as much data as we could to do a proof of concept so the board could take that data and make an informed decision as to do you want to move this into the transit system as a viable alternative. Very quickly, the recommendation is to focus in on Leesburg primarily for two reasons. One, we can get the same amount of data as we can at Leesburg for a lesser cost. So that was the primary reason. At this point, we're only proposing to do one of them this fiscal year. And then if the board wants to continue it, we would move to the next one the following year to capture more data.
