We also have new school board members who may not have introduced themselves to the public. So we're going to go around the table and have everybody very quickly introduce yourself to the public. You can say your name and if you are elected official, what district you are representing and what year you might be in your term. And I will start with the chair.

And of course, I'm Phyllis Randall. I am chair at large, which means I'm an elected chair of the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors. I am amazingly in my 10th year of this most wonderful position. I am now going to go to Ms. Chandler, who's going to have comments and introduce Dr. Spence to give the budget presentation.

Thank you, Madam Chair, and good evening again, everyone. I'm excited to share with you tonight the fiscal year 27 school board adopted budget. It is a culmination of months of discussion and collaboration between our budget team, school leadership, and staff, constituents, and of course, the school board. Next slide, please. Over the past month, the school board engaged in conversations regarding the fiscal year 27 proposed budget with the administration and the community, leading to our submittal of the final budget for the 2026-2027 school year to the Board of Supervisors for your consideration. I will first ask Dr. Spence to provide some background information in developing the fiscal year 27 budget.
