Good afternoon. I actually wanted to start at this item to introduce our new assistant director in the transportation side of the house. He is the assistant director for transportation planning and traffic engineering. He's had very significant strategic jobs and very excited to have him on the team to help advise investment strategies.

All right, good evening. For the Algonquian Parkway Multimodal Feasibility Study, on October 21st, the Board of Supervisors moved to further evaluate Concept C at a future TLUC meeting, which is where we are this evening, to revisit the item and to incorporate the proposed short and midterm safety improvements into a future CIP program process. So what we'd like to discuss this evening is concept C, which to refresh the committee is on the screen with The entire corridor of Algonquian Parkway bordered or ending at Route 7 on either end. Purple segments show to fill in missing segments along the north and south sides of the corridor. These are results from our study that we did. Widen the asphalt trail where the red dashes are shown where there are segments that are less than eight to 10 feet and also green dots of proposed safety enhancement locations which again were approved by the board to be considered in a future CIP process.

So the evaluation of Concept C is that there were a lot of private property easements and records with more than half of the properties being determined to be owned and maintained by private trails and private HOAs.
