Good evening everyone. The November twenty eighth, twenty twenty three Loudoun County Planning Commission public hearing will now come to order. As is our custom, will you please join me in standing for the pledge of allegiance?
Pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Thank you. I hope everybody had a lovely Thanksgiving holiday last week and uh is back and ready to work. I um apologize now if I uh cough a little bit. I I swear I'm not contagious, it's nothing crazy, but I do have the sniffles, so bear with me if needed. Um members of the public who wish to comment on any item on the public hearing legislative agenda may do so this evening. Uh if you want to comment on a returning public hearing item on the agenda, you may do so at the beginning of the meeting. There will not be additional public comment taken once the commission begins to discuss the returning public hearing items. If you are in the boardroom, please fill out a speaker slip. And hand it to the assistant deputy clerk of the planning commission at the end of the dais to my left.
If you are participating electronically, please call the number on the bottom of the screen. If you signed up to speak after three thirty, please confirm your name is on the speaker list as public comment sign up closes at twelve noon as indicated on our website. Indicate your name in the agenda item you want to address. Each speaker will have three minutes, two minutes if you are speaking on a returning item. Six minutes if you're speaking on behalf of a civic organization, four minutes if you're speaking on behalf of an organization on a returning item. Written comments may be submitted to the Assistant Deputy Clerk who will make copies for the planning commission. The commission may vote on applications tonight and send its recommendation to the Board of Supervisors, or may forward the term the item to a work session for further consideration before taking a final vote.
Our procedures for public hearings are as follows we will have a ten minute staff presentation, followed by commissioners' questions to staff. Tonight each commissioner will be given three minutes to ask questions of staff and we will limit the round of commission questions to one round. Please. Uh we will have a ten minute applicant presentation when applicable and the hearing will be open for public comment. After everyone has had a chance to speak, the hearing will be closed. The applicant and staff will have the opportunity to provide Any responses to public comment and finally there will be a motion, deliberation, and a vote by the commission. Uh we have a set of minutes to review and adopt. Do I have a motion?

Uh before we get into our legislative items, I'd like to hear uh take any disclosures from commissioners. I'll go ahead and start at the end and work my way down.
