Yeah, we got most everybody. Good evening everyone. The October 22nd, 2024 Loudoun County Planning Commission public hearing will now come to order. As is our custom, please join us in standing for the Pledge of Allegiance.
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America. And to
the republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Thank you and thank you for your patience while we uh took a quick dinner break between our meetings. Um Let me go ahead and make some opening remarks for those of you who are not familiar with our process. Members of the public who wish to comment on any item on the public hearing legislative agenda may do so this evening. If you are in the boardroom, please fill out a speaker slip. And hand it to the Assistant Deputy Clerk of the Planning Commission at the end of the day is to my left. If you're participating electronically, please call the number on the bottom of your screen. If you signed up to speak after twelve thirty P.M. today, please confirm your name is on the speaker list as public comment sign up closes after twelve noon as indicated on our website.
Please indicate your name and the agenda item you wish to address. Each speaker, whether speaking on behalf of an organization or as an individual, will have three minutes per the by commission's updated bylaws. Written comments may be submitted to the Assistant Deputy Clerk who will make copies for the Planning Commission. The commission may vote on an application tonight and send its recommendation to the Board of Supervisors or may forward it to a work session item for further consideration before taking a final vote. Our procedure for public hearings are as follows. We'll have a 10-minute staff presentation followed by commissioners' questions of the staff. Tonight, each commissioner will be given three minutes to ask questions.
Ten-minute applicant presentation will follow when applicable, and that'll be followed by additional commissioner questions. The hearing will be open for public comment. We'll have three minutes for each speaker, and after that everyone has had a chance to speak on that item, the hearing will be closed. The applicant and staff will have an opportunity to provide any responses to public comment. Finally, there will be a motion, deliberation, and a vote by the Commission. All right. We have minutes from the September twenty-fourth, twenty twenty four public hearing. Do I have a motion to approve those?
Um madam chair, I move that the planning commission approve the Loudoun County Planning Commission public hearing minutes for September twenty fourth, twenty twenty four as present. Second.

I hate to do this. So I I'm on um page six of the minutes where we're uh it's the discussion of the CPAM and the Zoam. And it talks m refers to a number of witnesses speaking in support of the proposed CPM and Zoam. who were then favorable to the data center industry. I'm not sure that some of this isn't a little bit backwards, um, because I think The data center Witnesses were arguing in favor of Perhaps You know, not creating special exceptions as had been proposed. So I I'm just I think the vr the wording of this is Um I'm just a bit confused perhaps. And then if you go down to Calabres, uh Tony Calabrese's concerns about the mapping. And it he and it says he emphasized the urge to eliminate the urban employment place type.
I just turned Um I d I don't understand. I'm not it's it I'm just confused. I I think maybe it's backwards, but maybe it's not in terms of the language of opposed or you know, I mean you could say s just it could just go to Супорт фета центра инстрі.
