Good evening everybody. The uh March twenty fifth, twenty twenty-five Loudoun County Planning Commission public hearing will now come to order. And as is our custom, let us stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Well members of the public who wish to comment on any item on the public hearing legislative agenda tonight may do so. If you are in the boardroom, please fill out a speaker slip and hand it to the Assistant Deputy Clerk of the Planning Commission at the end of the day as to my left. If you are participating electronically, please call the number on the bottom of the screen. If you signed up to speak after 12:30 p.m., please confirm your name is on the speaker list as public comment sign up closes around 12 noon as indicated on the website. Indicate your name and the agenda item that you want to address. Each speaker, whether speaking on behalf of an organization or as an individual, will have three minutes per the Commission's update.
Yeah. Written comments may be submitted to the Assistant Deputy Clerk, who will make copies for the Planning Commission members. The Commission may vote on applications tonight and send its recommendation to the Board of Supervisors, or may forward the item to a work session for further consideration before taking a final vote. Our procedures for public hearings are as follows: 10-minute staff presentation, followed by Commissioners' questions to staff. Tonight each commissioner will be given three minutes to ask questions of staff. Ten minute applicant presentation uh when applicable, followed by commissioners questions. Once the hearing is opened for public comment, each speaker will have three minutes for comments.
After everyone has had a chance to speak, the hearing is closed. The applicant and staff will have a final opportunity to provide any response to public comment. Finally, there will be a motion, deliberation, and vote by the commission.
So the first item is uh we do have minutes from the January twenty eighth uh public hearing. And if commissioners have had a chance to review those, do I have a motion? Second. Second. Uh motion to approve the minutes by Commissioner Meyer, seconded by Vice Chair Miller. Any uh comments on the minutes? All those in favor? Aye. Aye. Opposed? Or abstentions?
I'm abstaining. I wasn't present at that meeting.
Okay. Uh then that motion will carry uh seven zero one one with uh Commissioner Banks absence and Commissioner Frank abstaining. Next, uh we'll go to disclosures. If you have any disclosures, just hit your light and I will Call upon you. I see no lights to my right. Commissioner Myers.
Um On March nineteenth I had a virtual meeting with the applicant and his attorney in regarding Quantum Park. Um at the um today I had a phone conversation with my Mike Romeo representing the applicant on the Hidden Wood Lane. Mr. Frank.
On March twenty fourth I had a video conference with Tony Calabres. Um how will you do and the train and the team representing the applicant regarding the quantum park application?
And uh Commissioner Motoretti. On March eleventh and as well as March twenty first, I had calls with Mike Romeo on hidden wood assemblage. On March twentieth, um I have a staff briefing with on Hiddenwood. On March twenty fourth, um I met with Howie Idao and the applicant team. uh on site uh on the quantum park. Thank you. Yes. And for myself today I had a uh meeting with uh The uh applicant and their representatives for the uh Lux Stone Cochrane Mill Data Center that will be coming back to a uh future work session. And I had a uh meeting with Mike Romeo uh regarding tonight's hidden wood assemblage application. Okay, that's it for disclosures. All right, our first uh public hearing item is LEGI twenty twenty three dash seventy, hidden wood assemblage, Z MAP twenty twenty three dash four.
