Good afternoon, not evening. It's uh it's it's a nice change of pace, but thanks for being with us on a Friday. Uh the March fifteenth, twenty twenty four Loudoun County Planning Commission work session will now come to order. As is our custom, please join us in standing for the Pledge of Allegiance. Thank you all. One quick um housekeeping note. I think word has gotten around the room, but we we are doing a last minute agenda swap. I haven't done that to y'all in a while. So we're gonna switch uh the two returning items and we're gonna take up uh the Orm farm rezoning prior to Defender Drive. So you guys can follow along. Uh as this is a work session, members of the public who wish to comment on any item on the agenda may do so at the beginning of the meeting. There will not be additional public comment taken once the commission begins to discuss the returning public hearing items. If you are in the boardroom, please fill out a speaker slip and hand it to the Assistant Deputy Clerk of the Planning Commission at the end of the dais to my left.
If you are participating electronically, please call the number on the bottom of the screen. If you signed up to speak after twelve noon today, please confirm your name is on the speaker list as public comment. Sign up closes after noon as indicated on our website. Indicate your name and the agenda item you wish to address. Each speaker will have two minutes, four minutes if you are speaking on behalf of an organization. All right, we have uh February eighth work session minutes to to review and adopt. Do I have a motion?

How are the February 8 work‑session minutes adopted and commission disclosures handled?
All right. My technical problem. All right, motion has been made by Commissioner Banks, seconded by Commissioner Kears. Uh every any changes? Updates to those minutes. Seeing none, all in favor? I Opposed? The motion carries seven. Zero two currently uh Vice Chair Combs and Commissioner Motoretti are absent. All right. We will go ahead now and handle any commission disclosures. If you would be so kind, uh turn your light on if you have disclosures to make and I'll just work my way down the row. Nope, nobody on that side? All right. Commissioner Myers. Um Can you come back? So I can you sure I'll work from close in to that. Mr. Kears?
Uh see on February twelfth I attended three pre application conferences uh in the in the Sterling district. One was a Chick-fil-A road setback modification. Sterling Costco fuel pump relocation and expansion and equinix zoning conversion. February twenty sixth, uh attend a pre application conference for a Shaw Road Industrial Rezoning. February twenty ninth, I had a meeting. Regarding an upcoming uh Atlantic residential application with Kim Hart and Packy Crown. Uh March 1st, I had a meeting with uh Cecil Eshin from Gilbane Development Company about residential development opportunities in the Sterling district. March 5th, I participated in the second re staff applicant referral conference regarding the Atlantic rezoning application, residential application.
March 11th, uh attended three more pre-application conferences. Uh Oak Grove Resident. residential Ruurton Road Auto Sales, uh L C P S Student Welcome Center. Uh March twelfth I had a meeting with the applicants for the Defender Drive application, Colleen Gillis, Steve Collins, and Lee Gleason. Uh also had a attended a meeting with staff regarding an upcoming Zebra East application and on March fifteenth participated in the second referral staff applicant meeting regarding the Zebra East rezoning application. Uh just one. Um on March fourteenth, I met with Stephen Collins and Lee Gleason regarding the defender drive application.
