Good evening, everyone. The May 9th, 2024, Loudoun County Planning Commission work session will now come to order. As is our custom, please join me in standing for the Pledge of Allegiance.

Still getting used to our new chairs up here. All right. Uh this is a planning commission work session, so let me review our uh our procedures here. Members of the public who wish to comment on any item on the agenda may do so at the beginning of the meeting. This will be easy because we only have one item on tonight's agenda. There will not be additional public comment taken once the commission begins to discuss the returning public hearing items. If you are in the boardroom, please fill out a speaker slip and hand it to the Assistant Deputy Clerk of the Commission at the end of the dais to my left. If you're participating electronically, please call the number on the bottom of your screen. If you signed up to speak after 12 noon today, please confirm your name is on the speaker list as public comment sign up closes after 12, as indicated on our website.
Indicate your name and the agenda item you want to address. Each speaker will have two minutes, four minutes if you're speaking on behalf of an official organization. All right, we have minutes to approve. Do I have a motion for the April eleventh, twenty twenty-four work session minutes?

Uh motion made by Vice Chair Combs, seconded by Commissioner Miller. Any changes or corrections anybody have? Um sorry. I'm trying to open it up. At one point it says that I was absent for the vote. I think it's the second vote. Um but I was there. I think it w meant to say moderati, perhaps. You were For that meeting?

Right. You were absent for the vote for the closed session. I was. Where was where was I? Restroom? Actually it was I that was absent because I was still outside talking with the attorney. I wasn't here for the word. But I I do recall that you were not in the room because we were worried that you couldn't participate in the closed session. I'm I'm not sure where you were, but I do remember you were absent. All right. Okay. I'm sorry. Okay. And then I move there's uh also uh just uh uh kind of a clerical thing. I I uh defer to Dale on it, but Um it I know that occasionally uh references were made to square feet stadiums rather than number of seats and I believe it's reflected as the square feet rather than number of seats where clearly what was intended was number of seats.
Okay. So anywhere we've got that reference in the high school discussion. All right. Well with that change made. Do we have um all in favor of approving the minutes with those edits?

Before we get into our public agenda items, I'll take disclosures. I'll start at the end if you're ready, Commissioner Miller. Nothing? Okay. Commissioner Jasper. I can. Can I start down here? Commissioner Myers? No no. I don't know, what is he disclosing? Uh Commissioner Myers. Um I met this week with um Colleen Gillis and her team um in regards to the Arcola Center station and I have um talked several times this week on the phone with uh Mike Romeo in regards to the hidden wood. Very good. Commissioner Banks, anything?

Um on April twenty-fourth, I had a phone conversation with Packy Crown regarding the Goose Creek Village West application. On April 25th, I attended the View at Broadlands Ribbon Cutting, which is an all-affordable housing apartment building in Broadlands.
