I'm a field representative for Congresswoman Eschew, and it's my pleasure to be here today to congratulate the incoming mayor and vice mayor for next year, and of course to celebrate Mayor Allison Hicks for completing her term as mayor. Mayor Hicks, your leadership has left a mark of growth and improvements in livability, which will be felt for years to come in the city of Mountain View. The housing element was completed with an inclusive and robust public participation process, which will prepare the city for growth over the next eight years. The city made important progress in its Vision Zero Action Plan. The council's thoughtful effort. Prepared us to welcome new neighbors in the shoreline and North Bay Shore communities.
