Um in recent weeks, several of our neighboring elected uh decision-making bodies have been subjected to disruptive racist verbal attacks by anonymous callers during virtual public comments. The City of Mountain View is fully committed to racial, religious, and cultural equity and justice as we strive to create a welcoming, safe, and inclusive community for all. The Council welcomes respectful and non threatening public comments regarding matters over which the council has jurisdiction. Comments deemed otherwise pursuant to the code of conduct and the government code may be grounds for terminating a speaker's comment period.

Uh if this is the appropriate time I'd like to uh make a motion to modify the agenda, appreciating that we have uh state and federal uh representatives who have uh who are going to participate under item six point one and who um are uh under a time constraint. So uh I'd like to move that we Uh arran rearrange the agenda to hear item five, oral communications after item six point one legislative program priorities for twenty twenty four.
