In recent weeks, several of our neighboring elected decision-making bodies have been subjected to disruptive racist verbal attacks by anonymous callers during virtual public comments. The City of Mountain View is fully committed to racial, religious, and cultural equity and justice as we strive to create a welcoming, safe, and inclusive community for all. The Council welcomes respectful and non-threatening public comments regarding matters over which the council has jurisdiction. Comments deemed otherwise pursuant to the code of conduct and the government code may be grounds for terminating a speaker's comment, period. So with that, I will move on to item four, which is the consent calendar.

These items may be approved by one motion unless any member of the council wishes to remove an item for discussion. If you would like to speak on this item or the next item, oral communications on non-agenda items in person, please submit a blue speaker card to the city clerk now. Would any member of the council like to pull an item? Vice Mayor Matichak. Thank you. I would like to pull item 4.5, and I also just want to register a vote of abstain on 4.8. I was not at the meeting where that was discussed, and so I would just like to abstain from voting on that one. Okay, you're going to abstain from which? 4.8. 4.8. All right, thank you. Do I have the right number? I think you do. So I'll pull that one as well. All right, now I seem to be seeing people's names on the list. Council Member Abacoga? Thank you, I would like to pull 4.6, no, I'm sorry, 4.8 for a potential addition. Okay. And I would just like to comment on a few. 4.5 and 4.6 have to do with public art for Evelyn Park and Ringsdorf Park. And I want to thank the staff and the Visual Arts Committee for working on this. I'd also like to bring up a couple 4.3, this is an application for receiving pro-housing incentive program funds, and we're only eligible for these because we've been designated as a pro-housing community. So it's very exciting that we get to apply for this $840,000 grant, and hopefully we will get it.
