Good evening, mayor, vice mayor, and council members. There is one item on this evening's closed session agenda. Item 2.1 is a conference with real property negotiators pursuant to government code section 54956.8. The property is 928 Mariner Drive in Mountain View, California. The agency negotiators are Arne Andrews, assistant city manager, Christian Murdoch, community development director, and Angela LaMonica, real property program administrator.

Hi, thank you, Mayor Schalter. Yes, I just wanted to, I saw that 928 Mariner Drive had come up, and I know Council has talked about this property in the past, and it has a large green area, and I recently attended as well the Moffitt Precise Plan Community Outreach Session at the end of August, at the community center and i wanted to ask there was a lot of sentiment that the precise plan outline boundaries should be expanded not just along moffett but further north to 85 and then further into the neighborhood so that you could have enough space to create a real community and i think um the space at 928 Mariner could provide just a really good asset for that. And I would like just to ask that it gets included if that is on the docket for the closed session to consider it.

And I just wanted to talk about as well, some of the things that popped up in the numerous It was very interesting. There was a lot of common themes amongst the six or seven groups that were brainstorming and coming up with their priorities. And a lot of it was, you know, denser mixed use, an extension of downtown, a lot of small businesses keeping the groceries, adding in coffee shops, seeing better bike pad connectivity, traffic calming, much more green space and parks and plaza. And I think... if you build out beyond just Moffitt and just the sidewalk space and the right of way, that you could create a really impactful and more integrated community that really embodies a lot of these priorities and dreams that people have of Moffitt.

All right, well, I'm gonna start off tonight with a couple of announcements that I'm gonna read, because there are things that are of interest to the community that we wanna make sure we get the word out about. One of them is the Ringsdorf Park Aquatic Center update. I know you've been following the updates on Ringsdorf Park Aquatic Center. You saw this was originally planned to open this summer, but due to some construction challenges tied to its being so eco-friendly, the opening has needed to be delayed, but it is coming.
