The San Francisco Board of Supervisors acknowledges that we are on the unceded ancestral homeland of the Ramaytush Ohlone, who are the original inhabitants of the San Francisco Peninsula.
As the indigenous stewards of this land and in accordance with their traditions, the Ramaytush Ohlone have never ceded, lost, nor forgotten their responsibilities as the caretakers of this place, as well as for all peoples who reside in their traditional territory. As guests, we recognize that we benefit from living and working on their traditional homeland. We wish to pay our respects by acknowledging the ancestors, elders, and relatives of the Ramatush Ohlone community and by affirming their sovereign rights as First Peoples. Colleagues, will you join me in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance?
On behalf of our board, I would like to acknowledge the staff at SFGov TV. And today, that is Kalina Mendoza and Jeanette Egenlauf. They record each of our meetings and make the transcripts available to the public online. Madam Clerk, do you have any communications? Yes, thank you, Mr. President. The Board of Supervisors welcomes your attendance here in person here in the Board's legislative chamber, room 250 on the second floor of City Hall. When you can't be here, the proceedings are airing live on SFGovTV's local cable channel or live streaming at sfgovtv.org. As of July 1st, the Board is required to take remote public comment pursuant to SB 707. During the public comment periods, we will prioritize those who have joined us in person and then hear from our remote callers.
As a reminder, the board committee meetings are not required to take remote public comment. The board has also approved a rule to address disorderly public comment. Members of the public may keep their comments to remain to matters within the jurisdiction of the board or the subject matter, and any comments that contain personal attacks, harassment, or discriminatory remarks shall be redirected. And a failure to immediately redirect those comments will result in that individual's forfeiture of remaining time. We will transition to the next speaker. Please remember to address your comments to the board as a whole and not to individual members. To submit public comment in writing, send an email to BOS at sfgov.org or via US Postal Service to the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, number one,
Dr. Carlton B. Goodluck Place, City Hall, Room 244, San Francisco, California, 94102. To make a reasonable accommodation for a future meeting under the Americans with Disabilities Act or to request language assistance, please contact the clerk's office at least two business days in advance by calling 415-554-5184. Members, that concludes my communication. Thank you, Mr. President. Thank you, Madam Clerk. Let's go to approval of our meeting minutes. Today's meeting minutes up for approval are the June 16 board meeting regular minutes. Could I have a motion to approve the minutes as presented? Moved by Chen and seconded by Cheryl.
