Councilmember Watanabi requests that the legislative body allow her to participate remotely due to this emergency circumstance. The legislative body must take action by majority vote on the emergency request at the beginning of the meeting before any vote takes place. Councilmember Watanabe, at this time you may provide a general description of the circumstance relating to the need for you to appear remotely at the meeting.

Item one C is conference with legal counsel existing litigation in the matter of City of Santa Clara versus Westco Properties Incorporated, which includes the Home Depot property, Santa Clara County Superior Court case number two one, CV 380278.
And lastly, item one D is conference with rural property negotiators relating to the property at 5201 Great America Parkway, Santa Clara, California, 95050, sorry, 95054, APN 104-55013. Madam Mayor.
