Thank you, City Clerk. And we're gonna go around the room now in case any of us don't know each other. We're going to introduce ourselves. I'm Lisa Gilmore, Mayor of Santa Clara.

Mm-hmm. Suds Jane District Five, I was on planning commission for five years. All right, well thank you. So uh Chair uh Chirakuru, it's been two years. Is this your second year as chair? Congratulations. There must be a lot of faith in you to Chaired the commission for two years. So we're excited to hear from all of you this evening as to what's been going on in the planning commission and what your accomplishments are and what you hope to achieve in this upcoming year. So the floor is yours.
Thank you, Mayor, and truly to all of the City Council members uh for giving us this time, as uh Mayor mentioned. It's been long years since we had this moment, uh so I'd consider this a momentous occasion. And yes, it's been two years. I think the commission was trying to have me make get it right at least once before I leave the meeting. But uh uh it's been a very, very uh significant journey. We've had several new members, as you can see. uh that allowed me to be chair just because of the experience uh on the commission. But that said Because we have such limited and precious time with you all, I'll just start off with three acknowledgments and then I'll go into how our year has been. But more specifically, I'd like to focus on how you would like to see more from us and what we'd like to see from this partnership.
Um acknowledgments wise, I want to fully acknowledge City Council Mayor and the leadership that this uh council offers in making City of Santa Clara continuing to be one of the best cities to live in. and where innovation continues to be possible. We are now at the nuclei of AI, with NVIDIA leading so much ServiceNow AWS named the data centers, we still have innovation at our at our core. So thank you for making it possible. Want to acknowledge city administration. City staff has been phenomenal, especially as Planning Commission support. Want to acknowledge Leslie, Elizabeth in the background here. Zander as our attorney who supports uh but the team that works behind with Rena, with all of the key leaders here, we couldn't be here as with city council without your expertise and knowledge and keeping us within the guardrails.
