Thank you, Madam Mayor. Yes, two two items one A and one B. Item one A is counsel with legal counsel regarding anticipated litigation, exposure to litigation, one case. The facts and circumstances um in this involve a claim by Deanna Santana against the city. Item one B is also um uh Conference with legal counsel with respect to anticipated litigation, exposure to litigation uh again, one case, the facts and circumstances involved here are a letter from a representative of the housing um action coalition um concerning the city's housing element.

Hi, thank you, Mayor. I just wanted to say I I don't have full aspect of what's going on. I I Um with the um close session and I know you can't discuss a lot of it. I that one litigation everybody has a right to their due process, but You know, I I worked for I don't know how many years, um, never had a vacation. And it was just an honor just to work for the taxpayer to be honest with you and doing the kind of work I did. I wanna say I don't know how you guys do it to be honest with you. And I wanna thank you for your efforts. Thank you, ma'am.

Good evening, everyone. I'd like to call this meeting to order. Could you please stand for the pledge of allegiance and remain standing for our statement of values? I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all. As we gather, we humbly seek blessings upon this meeting. May we act with strength, courage, and will to perform our obligations and duties to our people with justice to all. Let us seek wisdom so we may act in the best interest of our people, our neighbors, and our country. All this we ask so we may serve our community with fairness and respect, putting their needs before all.

Thank you, Madam Mayor, and we already did roll call, so I'll just read our Statement of behavioral standards into the record. The city of Santa Clara has adopted a code of ethics and values and behavioral standards for public meetings to promote and maintain the highest levels of conduct. This includes a mutual respect, robust discussion, and allowing city business to be done in an efficient and consistent manner. Please note that as a presiding officer, the mayor's direction in matters of process and decorum should be followed and that use of the gavel indicates all conversations must conclude and everyone in attendance should come to order and attention. Welcome and thank you for your participation.
