People had to lie because they'd see Ballymun on the CV and they'd throw it out.
You know, that's the history that we're talking about here.
The other thing, I hate having to come on and speak like this because I work on some of the more positive things in Ballymun and I try and champion that because there is great things going on in Ballymun.
There's great things going on.
There's youth projects working constantly around the clock with young people.
There's young people from their youth clubs and from their local schools who are participating in art programmes, who are doing bands, playing in the Access Centre.
You know, I see the Trinity Comprehensive is doing great work as a secondary school.
You know, they've made great improvements.
They're really helping get young people in the area more involved and help them stay in education longer.
You know, there is improvements on that front.
There is improvements with education and employment and so on.
There has been improvements over the years.
The gang thing and the violence, that has existed there since the heroin epidemic, right?
That has existed there since those days.
That's a much larger issue, right?
The other stuff I'm talking about is slowly, incrementally changing and getting better.
And we need to keep working on that.
Let's just keep investing in it.
And do you not think that parents are going to help?
