Like it's always so shallow, this thought process that these men's rights activists have, obviously.
But they have this thing where it's like they think that it's an individualization thing again, I guess.
They're like these boys, this individual boy isn't going to change just because you tell him to respect women.
Okay.
No, I agree.
That's not enough at all.
But what could help these boys change is explaining to them domestic labour.
If they see their parents at home and their mum does all the housework and also gets yelled at for not having the right dinner on the table, that would help in them understanding why that is wrong because shock horror, their mum is a person.
Like Jesus fucking Christ.
That would help them see β
recognize misogyny in their lives and recognize where women aren't being respected.
And that would help them change and then spread that knowledge to their friends.
And that becomes the norm.
It also allows when you have a group, a cohort of young boys, if you do educate them, they are able to police each other in what they are doing and what they are saying.
That's the most effective tool.
Women can scream and shout and let it out loud and scream.
But we can scream and shout and let it all out like IPs.
But if you don't respect women, women screaming and shouting and letting it all out is actually going to make you disrespect them even more because you are upset that they are questioning your reality that you have learned and been indoctrinated into from birth.
So if we cut the cord and we stop these young boys or we at least have some intervention where they are aware of the
They are aware of ways in which women are treated poorly.
