And then everything became about college and degrees and being professors.

And then every single construction worker and every sitcom was a goofball oaf, you know?

And then we did a lot of like, I want you to go to college, son.

I don't want you to end up, you know, working, you know, construction.

And then we vilified construction.

Dudes who work with their hands, who build everything.

It's a hard, honest work, dude.

And the kind of shit you use every day.

Like, I don't know what they're talking about at Berkeley right now, but I do know there's a freeway overpass I use to get here, and I'll use it to get home.
