I was a stand-in.
But we had the good guys and the greasers and the socias.
There's always the good guys and there's the bad guys.
And there was like five bad guys and five good guys in Judgment Night.
They didn't like each other at all.
They created this tension between them.
They wouldn't sit together at meals.
There was some real shit going on, and they literally created what they were trying to do on screen, off screen, on the set, which is an interesting kind of human condition, right?
Which I don't think you could really do today because you'd get a phone call from HR.
Right.
But back then, you know, when...
We were brought in a month early to begin rehearsing The Outsiders, and every weekend there would be extremely competitive events set up, whether it was basketball games, bowling nights, football at the park, and it would be the Greasers against the Socs.
And, you knowโ
By the time we started filming, it did two things.
It really bonded the cast.
Right.
And it really set us apart from, you know, there was a real us against them kind of a vibe.
Do you think Francis Ford Coppola was doing that on purpose?
Oh, he was the greatest psychologist ever.
Oh, interesting.
