All it did was it said, you got to let parents know these books are there.

That's all you got to do.

You just got to let them know they're there and keep them there all day long.

And I remember sitting in the elevator with an ordained minister who was a Democrat.

And he goes, Nick, I can't believe what delegate Anderson did on the floor today.

I'm like, what are you talking about?

Well, for him to show those pictures on the floor of the house of delegates.

Sure.

And I'm like,

He's showing you pictures of things that are being shown to children in public school libraries.

Well, Nick, nobody wants those books in the public school libraries.

Like, well, Luke, somebody does because they're there.

Right.

He goes, well, we don't want that.

I said, okay, well, we'll see when we take the vote.

Because when we take the vote, that's where you're going to get to prove to me that you don't want that there.

And at the very least, you're willing to take the minimum measure to say, yeah, we should let the parents know so the parents can make an informed decision.

That's how Luke voted.

He voted no.

They all voted no.
