How the hell?

So you grew up in the San Fernando Valley, right?

Yeah.

And your dad was a stuntman, which is a very San Fernando Valley kind of back in the day job.

And you grew up, you had some space, some horses and stuff like that, right?

Dirt bikes.

Dirt bikes, horses, a little land.

We got dirty, man.

You were in the West Valley, right?

Yeah, I was raised out in Agora.

That's far out back in the day.

And then we kind of moved on out to Valencia before it became Santa Clarita.

Yeah, so the way the valley worked is it started with the city, with Hollywood and whatever, and then it spilled over the canyon, and you got Toluca Lake and North Hollywood and Bob Hope buying a bunch of acreage in Toluca Lake and a golf course and stuff like that.

But it eventually kept spreading and drifting out until you got to the Santa Claritas.

Well, if you wanted more property, you kept going either north or west eventually.

Right.

So you so Agora was considered pretty far out there.

And also, I had to look at it through the lens of a family that didn't have cars that could make it that far without overheating and shit like that.

So you were raised in the valley.

I raised in North Hollywood.
