At a certain point, I just got up and I think we just like walked out to the sidewalk where it was smoking.

And I sort of said, hey, Patrick, I'm Adam Carolla and I just want to say I'm a fan and these guys are fans too.

And he was like – he just did a thing where he just went –

okay.

And I went like, okay.

I just wanted to say hi.

So it was awkward.

It was sort of tantamount to walking up to a woman at a bar and asking if you could buy her drink or sit down or something.

And she just kind of, she didn't hit you over the head with a purse or anything.

She just kind of went like,

I'm good.

You know, it was like kind of that where you kind of walk, you slunk back to your bar stool.

A lot of artists don't know how to respond in that moment.

I didn't think he was a bad person.

I was just kind of like, uh, I wanted to, I wanted him.

I wanted us to do a big Red Dawn hug or something.

And I don't judge him, and I think he's a good guy and all that kind of stuff.
