I actually would have tried to trade the pick and chop it around.

But if you're going to pick there, you have to take them.

So I don't know how much credit you get for that.

There are some things that, you know, played out along the way.

I think there was other guys that would have gone with in certain spots.

But my favorite pick by far of the Raiders draft was Javon McCoy.

I think they were in a place at that point in the draft where they could take a swing on potentially a top 10 player in this draft.

So I like that a lot.

And then they clearly identified a need for speed on offense.

Like they drafted two sub four, three, five guys.

to play receiver and running back.

So I would say they did fine.

There was nothing special about it, but I think it was a good foundation to build from.

I mean, they're pretty insistent right now that it's going to be a competition and the best man will win.

I don't see how in any actual competition Kirk Cousins would not win.

I would assume he'd be the starter.

He's so familiar with the offense.

He worked for Kubiak for three years already.

I expect him to be the starting quarterback.

I expect him to know the offense and know all the intricacies of playing quarterback, and that's why they brought him in to be the mentor.
