And to get there with the lads was absolutely unbelievable.
All three of us to get up was so nice.
Well, we actually, so just what we did as well.
So we actually went up and we did it at night time.
So we reached summit at 3 a.m.
in the morning.
And reason being was the queues.
And that was actually the most summits ever in a day.
And you could see it on the way down.
It took us hours more than it should have to get down.
But coming down, you can see the sunrise.
You can see the circumference of the earth.
It was just absolutely stunning.
Something that my eyes haven't kind of comprehended yet, I tell you that.
Yeah, so we were the first up there.
Typical, isn't it?
You train two years, you do it for two months and you don't even see a view.
Why do we do it?
Yeah, I don't know.
I suppose for the joy and the elation.
