Oh, look, it was class.

Look, coming home and everything like that as well.

The amount of people that come up and ask me, oh, how was it?

Apparently the whole country was invested in it.

Yeah, we were thinking, geez, this is going to be the most expensive base camp trip of all time.

But yeah, no, we were the first in there and we were actually, so we had no wife around them when we got in there.

There was no one, but it was just us.

The Sherpas were there and stuff like that.

And when we were leaving, everything was being taken down around us.

It was just...

It went on for way, way too long.

We thought we weren't going to get up there at one stage.

I remember thinking the icefall was never going to open and stuff.

But look, we got the opportunity and yeah, we took it and stuff like that.

And just as well, Jason was down at base camp to orchestrate the second summer push or else we wouldn't have had a second go at it.

It would have been one and done.

He kind of had to deal with politics down below.

Yeah, I think we kind of knew early on.

So he had done a bit of ankle damage.

He had done a ligament off the bone.
