We had 45 minutes with him, a bunch of us Irish reporters.
And he was banging on about this for about seven minutes of that 45 minutes.
He kept going on about the difference in economic growth between Europe and the U.S.,
And he was the point he was trying to make was we're being strangled by regulation in the in Europe.
And he kept going on about freeing the European people from regulation.
And it's just it's a really it's really interesting, the two different approaches together.
We've loads of money over here.
Like the Germans, they've loads of money.
They've loads of savings.
How do you detect the change in the airflow here?
Because it seemed that, so you had this raft of EU regulation that was introduced over the last decade, and we were definitely on a direction of travel there.
And that had a big effect.
I mean, the GDPR, you know, affected the way that American tech companies, you know, it changed their rules pretty much around the world.
Then they got sick of that.
America lurched to the right a little bit.
Trump comes in.
