I didn't know that there was a Victorian Law Reform Commission that could do an inquiry into what could be changed.
We didn't know the public.
In fact, I remember doing something on current affairs because I wanted the public to be aware that you could make submissions to these commissions that would apparently be considered and taken seriously.
That's how the recommendations came about.
Why make promises you're not going to keep?
That's just not going to happen.
I was promised it too many times, explained what it was, told what it would unveil.
Yep.
And to me, as nice as the police commissioner was, police investigating themselves, that's not good enough.
It just isn't.
Ultimately, that is what's going to save women's lives.
